FreeWheel Cannes Lions
Where Connections Happen
Through global collaboration, this is The FreeWheel Beach 2025.After countless hours across 7 months of planning, teams calls, and several rounds of designs, the space was created. This was a challenging yet exciting project to be a part of. Working on this project allowed for deeper understanding of how design plays a vital importance to the overall success of an activation.
As a junior designer, I was also thankful for the opportunity to take creative lead on several touch points that was displayed across the event–especially having heavy influence over the art direction of the beach, party visuals and swags (merch).
Design Team: Hannie Waldron, Reanna kahandawala, D’Carlos Ikuomola-Andre, Alison Balch, Kat Chen, Kat Pilnick, Andew Fanelli and Kimberly Williamson-Smith, & Comcast Advertising International Brand Marketing Team.

Beach Branding
The visual direction throughout the week was split into two: The overall beach space & the party.
As the party was co branded, the challenge we faced was figuring out a visual language that followed both
brand guidelines but also helped elevate the space.

Swags designed for the beach
6K Swags Developed and Distributed
Design a cohesive collections of branded merch that complemented the beach branding was a fun challenge. Through countless revisions, negotiations with vendors, and back and forth emails, the overall outcome was well received; with shelves having to be restocked frequently throughout each day on the beach!

The Party – Rendez-vous
Co-Hosted with NBCUniversal, FreeWheel put together another stella performance. With a quick set turn around,
the space transformed into the ‘it’ party where everyone came to Rendez-vous.Taking a lead on props, typographic treatment, and signage visual direction, it was great to see it all come to life as sun set.
